Designer Alexandre Chapelin uses resin and natural stone to make his handcrafted tables into unique works of art. The intricate patterns beneath the transparent surfaces look astonishingly like tropical islands, lost in a boundless blue ocean. The artist’s most recent work represents a miniature copy of the island of St. Maarten in the Caribbean.
