Review about my day in the "Nyelvparádé" 2016.september.9

It was a tough way to reaching the Millenárius park, I thinking about the traffic jam. But eventually it worth it. I got plenty of options to learn English many of them are using the "blended" line to teach the people. Which is basically a relatively new way to learn English.

Very soon I will introduce the most of the companies and their strategies to teach people. I would also give my perception about some stand in the expo which was really professional and wich was not.

Interview with my sister, SHe's living in Scotland for 5 years almost. She has become a fluent English speaker!

I would love to make my first interview with my sister whom I highly proud of.

She made the decision to go after our mother to Glasgow in Scotland. Emese was only a fifteen years old little loveable girl. She's been in Scotland for almost 5 years now.

How do you felt yourself after you have arrived in Scotland?

The first few day/ weeks I felt terrified, happy, curious and sad at the same time. Didn't really know what was going on but it was interesting to meet people from all around the world. Moving to a Hostel is a fun way to save money if you like meeting people all sorts. I have learnt a lot in those few months. It is a totally different experience.

What do you do in there?

I am currently studying to be an Interior Architecture at West College Scotland, Paisley. After trying different subjects such as fashion and improved my English decided that this is what the future holds for me in Scotland.

What do you miss from home and what is not?

What I miss the most are my family and friends. The fact that I can not walk to get granny's lunch or see my brother, go to parties with friends and also miss the first years of my little cousin becoming a man. These things can be devastating.

Your bits of advice to the people who would like to go abroad?

Learning languages and fitting in can be fun if you got the passion and interest for it, if not don't even pack! Fitting in isn't about eating their food, dating their man, woman or wearing their clothes; is about accepting the country without judging it too much.

All in all?

The UK is a great place for people who knows what they want, knowing where to look for a suitable life for your skills is very important. The weather can be very hard, if you don't like rain, like me I would consider my choices carefully

Top 5 Unemployed Countries in Europe

The reason why I've posted that list is because I personally think this list isn't given anyone a precise picture about the numbers of unemployment. I mean Hungary is on 5.5%? COME ON! It's crap!

Does someone believe that Denmark, Austria, Sweden and Finland have more extensive issues at unemployment?

What I see from the middle of Hungary that is an enormous amount of people fleeing the country to abroad. To be honest with everyone?! My mother, sister, uncle and my best friend too live in the UK for years now.
They work hard there, but they didn't find their expectations here and it's mainly because of the employee program of our country.

5. Portugal Unemployment rate about 11.6%

More information about Portuguese unemployment

Before we move on to the 4th country we should talk about the unemployment among the youth. One in four young adults is unemployed in Spain. It is ridiculous while these young people fleeing from their country the government spending millions on football and basketball. A job is never just a workplace as we all know. One job could provide subsistence for a whole family! More member of your family has a job much stronger the family subsistence.

4. Cyprus Unemployment rates 12%

The Republic of Cyprus occupies the southern part of the island of Cyprus in the eastern Mediterranean. The island (and capital city Nicosia) is divided with Turkey to the north.

To me, it was only a notorious place where the offshore money goes in.

3. Croatia Unemployment rates 13.3%

While Croatia will be always famous by its coast shores for a Hungarian, It looks like they don't have too big industries what could give the people job. Is it because of the Yugoslavian war entirely? I don't know but the bad times passed away It's about time to look for a solution for their problems in unemployment. Unemployment rates

2. Spain Unemployment rates 19.8%

If someone has a big problem I assure you that Spain has!

A complete generation practically unemployed.

1. Greece Unemployment rates above than 24%

Nothing left to say by me. Scary percentages! Maybe that's all!

A Hungarian woman gets raped by three migrant in Germany. Inadmissible and infuriating news!

The frightful rape has happened in Mühlhausen in Germany on august 27th.
Personally, if it would happen with one of my woman in life (mother, sister, girlfriend) I wouldn't know how to support them in a right way. I mean should I talk to her about it, or should I just shut my mouth up until she begins to speak about it?

Fortunately, I don't need to think about this horrific scenario.

Unfortunately somebody has.

I would love to give a voice to my compassionate about her family and herself.

Even if some people sounding that english is easy it is actually really weird language

Accept That English Is a Weird Language

Sometimes you can find patterns in English grammar, but other times English doesn’t make sense at all. For example, why are “read” (reed) and “read” (red) the same word, but pronounced differently depending on whether you’re speaking in the past or present tense? Or why is “mice” the plural of “mouse”, but “houses” is the plural of “house”?

Unfortunately, there are just as many exceptions as there are rules in English. It’s easy to get stuck on learning how to speak English properly, if you try to find a reason for everything.  Sometimes English is weird and unexplainable, so instead the best thing to do is just memorize the strange exceptions and move on.

Intermittent fasting

As you might heard about intermittent fasting is a new diet plan which isn't that popular as other diets, partly it's because of you can't sell anything from this kind of weight loss process. You may have made a book about it or vlogging on youtube, but you can't sell things like in the "Paleo" business.

But I quite frankly say that nothing will be such an effective fat burner as the intermittent fasting and It's because of simple math. If you cut your calories under your calorie requirements you will start to burn fat and muscle(unfortunately) but ultimately you will lose weight. It is that easy.

Yes, you will struggle by starving but this is part of the process.

TOP 10 veggies, number 8. lettuce

There is nothing like a good cold salad in the hot summer days.

It's full with vitamins rich in fibers, everyone says it is good for your health.

why wouldn't you eat more of it there are plenty of types and each has different taste.

Eat Salads to Cut Calories

If losing weight is your goal, you may want to start your meals with a green salad. Studies have shown that eating a low-calorie first course, like a green salad of 150 calories or less, enhances satiety (feelings of fullness) and reduces the total number of calories eaten during the meal.

Rolls, lead researcher of the study, suggests that "bigger is better" as long as the salad is bigger in volume, not in calories - which means more veggies and less dressing and other fatty add-o

How to go on ? angol otthontanulóknak

Számomra kissé megdöbbentőek is a számok.

Én a következő folyamatot javaslom:

Kis mennyiségben adagolva, minőségi anyaggal dolgozva, napi szinten ismeretekre szert tenni. A legkevesebb anyagból a legtöbbet tanulni.

Differences between the food names

English can often be complicated enough without have to complicate things anymore, right? You know us, we love to make things complicated for absolutely no reason whatsoever and we have gone and done it again with foods.

In today’s post we are going to look at foods which depending on where you live or visit have different names. In the United States and the United Kingdom there are several foods which have different names depending on which side of the Atlantic you are on and today we are going to take a look at some of them.

United Kingdom = Aubergine

United States = Eggplant

There are different ideas as to why this food has more than one name, although it is believed that the British call it aubergine due to the French who adapted it from Catalan and Spanish after the Arab conquering many moons ago.

United Kingdom = Biscuit

United States = Cookie

Again, why are there 2 words for the same food? It is speculated that the American word comes from the Dutch word “koekje” which could have been due to Dutch colonisation many moons ago.

United Kingdom = Rocket

United States = Arugula

Why may there be differences in this instance? It can be assumed that the British say “rocket” due to their close proximity to France where the word is “roquette”. Americans on the other hand like to use the Italian word “arugula” almost as if to maintain its heritage. Fair play to the Americans on this one.

United Kingdom = Courgette

United States = Zucchini

With this vegetable, the word used by the British- “courgette”, is of French origin and is actively used in the New Zealand, South Africa and obviously France. On the other hand, “zucchini” comes from the Italian word “zucchino” which means small squash. This word is commonly used in large English speaking areas including the United States, Canada and Australia.

United Kingdom = Prawn

United States = Shrimp

Generally the words “prawn” and “shrimp” are used interchangeably in modern English to refer to the same type of crustacean. There apparently is a difference in their definition however, with prawns being slightly larger than shrimp and tending to have pairs of pincers on three sets of their legs whereas shrimp only tend to have pairs of pincers on two sets.

Intermittent fasting

We already know a lot of useless diets what's more some of them are unhealthy. The Atkins diet based on that fact that if you eat less carbohydrate you loose weight which is true to be honest, but if you have enough courage for start a diet the best option is to stop eat too much food.

The next diets are based on fasting.

Ketones are the result of the body burning fat for energy or fuel. For a person with diabetes, ketones are often the result of prolonged high blood sugar and insulin deficiency. Without the right amount of insulin, glucose starts to build up in the blood stream and doesn't enter the cells.

Duolingo

"A nyelvtanulás legjobb új módszere.

60 days to exam, preparation at home

Október 22.-én lessz a felősőfokú nyelvvizsgám, az Euroexamnél (C1).
Nyolc hét van hátra odáig, pontosan 60nap. A felkészülésemet és a vizsga eredményt fogom ide kiposztolni.

Tömören a vizsga részei:

1. Mediation (Fordítás), mely két részből fog állni gondolom olvasott szöveg fordítása és hallott szövegé.
2. Reading, klasszikus szövegértési feladat
3. Writing, az írás része a vizsgának különösen sok gyakorlást fog igényelni.
4. Listening, azon részekhez tartozik amiket viszonylag egyszerű gyakorolni otthonról is.

How to Speak Fluent English: Top 10 Tips

Today’s lesson is important, because MANY students write to me and ask how they can become fluent – so here are my top 10 tips for speaking fluent English.

1) Understand that there is no “magic bullet.”

That means there is NO secret and super-effective way to guarantee fluency very fast.

Yes, there are different methods, and some are more effective than others. For example, a good English course should balance all the areas of language (speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing). If any of those elements are missing, then you will have difficulty becoming fluent.

Also, different methods will appeal to different people. I personally do very well with memorization; other people hate memorization. Some students can pick up English easily from informal conversations; other students prefer a more organized and structured method.

Still, becoming fluent in English – or any language – is a long-term process.

If anyone says they have “the secret” to instant fluency… don’t believe them!

2) Use English in your daily life as much as possible.

It’s more important to have frequent contact with English than to have hours and hours of study. Using English for 10 minutes a day, every day, is better than studying for 1 hour only once a week.

Even if you don’t live in an English-speaking country, there are still many ways to do this!

Here are just a few suggestions for making English part of your daily life:

  • Listen to English as you drive to work.
  • Read the news online in English instead of in your native language.
  • Practice thinking in English while you are doing housework or exercise.
  • Read articles, listen to podcasts, and watch videos in English about topics you enjoy (this is important! You will make much more progress if you are having fun during the process).

3) Balance the areas of language learning.

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Speaking
  • Listening
  • Grammar
  • Vocabulary

Many students make the error of focusing too much on one or two areas, and they end up being weak in the other areas. One tip is to dedicate one day per week to studying and practicing each area.

4) Get a regular speaking partner through a “conversation exchange” website.

You can’t just study English… you need to USE your English!

If you have nobody to speak with in daily life, you can find a speaking partner online through a “conversation exchange” website. On these websites, you can meet native English speakers who want to learn your native language – this way, you can both help each other learn and practice.

Here are some conversation exchange websites:

Try to speak with your partner at least once a week. This is so important for practicing as well as building your confidence!

5) Read, watch and listen to English in many different contexts.

If you only watch news programs in English, then you will be able to understand a more “formal” style of English, but not a typical conversation between two native speakers, which is often filled with idioms and slang.

On the other hand, if you only watch movies and listen to songs in English, then you might not be able to understand (or write) a more academic article. And if you only use English for work, then it will be hard to talk about other topics because you won’t have the vocabulary.

So make sure to diversify your English input:

  • fiction and non-fiction
  • formal and informal
  • lectures and conversations
  • serious subjects and comedy
  • etc.

6) Learn to think in English.

This is one of the biggest keys to English fluency – but how can you learn it?

There’s a step-by-step process you can follow:

  1. First, beginning to think with individual English words
  2. Then progressing to thinking in English sentences
  3. Finally imagining entire conversations and stories in your head in English

(Read this lesson for a more detailed explanation with examples).

This is one of the best ways to practice English, because if you make a “mistake,” nobody knows about it!

Also, you can practice thinking in English anytime, anywhere. No need for a textbook or classroom. The earlier you begin the habit of thinking in English, the easier it will be to speak fast.

7) Say things with different words – be creative!

Two big obstacles to English fluency are lack of vocabulary and pauses / hesitations. This usually happens because you have an idea, but you can’t express it in English. It can be really frustrating. However, if you don’t know a particular word, try to think of alternative ways to express your idea.

Here’s an example: in a conversation about cooking, my student didn’t know the word “onion,” so instead he said, “the white vegetable that when you cut it you cry” – it was a perfect description, and I understood exactly what he wanted to say!

This is also important for English sentences. Sometimes you want to say something a certain way because you are translating directly from your native language, but you don’t know how to construct the phrase in English.

Of course, learning to think directly in English will help you avoid this problem – but also try to be open-minded and flexible in thinking of different ways to say the same message.

Native English speakers also have many ways to say the same thing – just look at this list of different ways to say “hello” and “goodbye” in English.

8) Practice talking to yourself.

This is REALLY an excellent way to develop your fluency and build your confidence. There is no pressure to be perfect, and nobody else will hear your mistakes.

For speaking ideas, go to this website and choose a topic. Imagine somebody is asking you the question. Then practice answering it by talking to yourself out loud.

Yes… it feels a little bit silly. But you can do it alone where no one will hear you, and it’s a great step to putting your English into practice.

9) Don’t think too much about grammar, and don’t worry about mistakes.

One of the biggest “mental blocks” for English learners is being nervous or afraid to make a mistake – or embarrassed if they don’t speak perfectly. But remember: Communication is MUCH more important than perfection!

Here’s an example:

  • Imagine someone says, “Yesterday I go to party in beach.”
  • This sentence is incorrect; it should be:
“Yesterday I went to a party on the beach.”

However, even with the errors, it still communicates the message SUCCESSFULLY!

Of course with time you will want to correct your mistakes – but for everyday speaking in general, RELAX and remember that mistakes are not fatal; the important thing is to communicate.

10) Don’t give up… never stop learning!

I’ve had a lot of students who study for a few years, then stop… then start again, then stop for a long time, then re-start… maybe you have done this, too.

The problem is that you often lose the progress you made before, and then becoming fluent takes much, much longer.

But the good news is that you don’t need to be a genius to become fluent in English – you just need to have dedication and practice consistently.

If you do this, you WILL reach your goal of English fluency.

ruthless bombardment in aleppo

The family of a young Syrian boy, whose photo has become a symbol of the suffering endured by civilians living under relentless bombardment in the country's brutal civil war, have been pulled alive from the rubble of their home.

When five-year-old Omran Daqneesh was filmed in an ambulance on wednesday evening,

covered in dust and blood from a devastating air strike, the fate of his parents and siblings was unclear.

The enduring appeal of Pokemons

This summer, you can see so many people walking around Hong Kong with their heads down, staring at their phones. That’s because they are playing Pokemon Go, a game that has the world going crazy. As an avid player, I am reminded of how far this game has come.

Pokemon is a media franchise featuring creatures called “Pokemons” that their human “trainers” catch and put to use in battle. The first Pokemon game was created in 1995, which was played on Game Boy. Later on, we played it using the Nintendo DS console and the computer. But those Pokemon games were only 2D versions, and players needed to really use their imagination.

But now we can play the game on our phone. This mobile game means people can play it anywhere. With the help of GPS, players can walk around and catch the Pokemons, unlike previously when we played sitting at home.

Although the Pokemon franchise has been around for so many years, it is still thriving, and I know many Pokemon online communities where people share memes and new information about the game.

As a player, I think it is a very good game. Today, it combines the use of many mobile technologies such as GPS and the camera. I believe the success of Pokemon Go will bring mobile games to a new level.

The Trouth about eggs

Eggs are actually quite nutritious. They are not just fat (yolk) and protein (white). In fact, they contain a wide array of essential vitamins and minerals. Here is what's in an egg...

Vitamins
A: good for the skin and growth.
D: strengthens bones by raising calcium absorption.
E: protects cells from oxidation.
B1: helps properly release energy from carbohydrates.
B2: helps release energy from protein and fat.
B6: promotes the metabolism of protein.
B12: an essential vitamin in the formation of nerve fibers and blood cells.

Minerals
Iron: essential in the creation of red blood cells.
Zinc: good for enzyme stability and essential in sexual maturation.
Calcium: most important mineral in the strengthening of bones and teeth.
Iodine: controls thyroid hormones.
Selenium: like vitamin E, it protects cells from oxidation.

Experts advise that despite being low in saturated fat, one should not eat more than two eggs a day on a low-fat diet. Egg yolk is mainly fat, so even though it doesn't raise blood cholesterol levels, it can cause other problems if abused.

Contaminated eggs kill up to 5000 individuals each year. One egg in 10,000 is contaminated with salmonella, so you should never eat undercooked eggs, make eggnog on your own or mimic Rocky by swallowing them raw.

The proper way to cook eggs depends on the type of food served. The American Egg Board advises that grills should never be set higher than 250F. Anything above that will leave the interior raw while burning the outside. If an egg has runny parts, it means it is still not cooked properly.

Properly - Jól,helyesen,rendesen

Andrew zimmern interview

How did your fascination with food develop? What shaped it? Was it gradual or sudden?

A: I like food, I am a chef and a traveler, and I am a paler version of my dad. He is a legendary eater and traveler, and my mom roomed with Vic Bergeron's kid in college. Trader Vic taught her to cook. So I was raised in a home that sought out the unusual, honest, authentic food experience. By the time I was 10, I knew what I wanted to do with my life. Be in the food business. And I started getting into serious kitchens by the time I was 14.

How important is the journey -- the process of getting to a destination -- when you're trying new foods?

A: It's the most important because you shed your urban American skin, and you make yourself ready to download and immerse yourself. You make yourself available to be changed. You perk up your ears and your taste buds and open your eyes.

Does your background in the culinary arts and your profession as a chef influence your family's eating habits? If so, how?

A: Well, of course, but my wife is not a food professional and feels, thinks and cooks the same way. Ingredients with corn syrup for example don't exist in our house. Aside from a small handful of items, the hundreds of foods in our fridge, pantry and on our counters would all be recognizable by my grandmother. The night before I left on my current trip we made homemade parmesan-crusted chicken fingers -- dipped in flour, then egg, then parmesan bread crumbs -- because Noah, our son, had a friend over and that’s what they wanted. My wife makes pasta sauces from scratch and freezes them for convenience. So we have a pretty sophisticated, yet simple, food life, but freshness is key.

Fascination - elragadtatás,elbűvölés,vonzerő
Develop - fejleszt,kifejleszt,fejlődik
Pale - halvány,sápadt
Honest - tisztességes,becsületes
Authentic - valódi,igazi,hiteles
to perk up - felélénkül, jókedvre derül
Taste buds - Ízlelőbimbók
influence - befolyás,hatalom
Ingredient - hozzávaló,alapanyag
Aside from "something" - eltekintve valamitől
Pantry - éléstár,spájz
Crusted - megkérgesedett, heges, réteggel bevont
Dipped - mártott, be mártott
Crumb - kenyér morzsa
to crumb - szétmorzsol, kiránt, paníroz
Sophisticated - kifinomult, kitanult, tapasztalt, mesterkélt

Mindent a hangosolvasásról

Going through the forest is my favourite part of the walk. My dog Benji loves it too. I’m Grace. I live on a farm with my parents and I take Benji for a walk most days after school.

While Benji’s playing, I stop to take a photo of a butterfly. I’m thinking about posting it on Facebook, but then I hear Benji barking. He’s jumping and running around a boy. The poor boy looks worried. 'Benji, stop! Come here!' I call and throw him his ball. I’m about to say sorry to the boy, but he’s gone.

The increase in people dying in India from air pollution will outpace the rate of such deaths in China, as India drags its heels over environmental rules while opening more coal mines, the head of a United States research group said on Thursday.

HEI and a group of Chinese and Indian universities recently said that over half of world’s air pollution-related deaths were in China and India. In China, coal-fired plants have been the worst source of pollution. But India has lagged behind in implementing stringent environment policies for coal emission.

From now until 2020, China aims to cut coal output by 500 million tonnes, or about 19 percent of its current annual output and reduce emission of major pollutants in the power sector by 60 per cent.

A kínai gyárváros, angol nyelvű dokumentumfilm

A teljes cikket itt olvashatjátok

Leviheted a balatonpartra olvasni.

A fashion and beauty rovatok a férfi olvasókat legalábbis azonnal lapozásra kényszeríti.

Nagy rajongója vagyok a Sherlock Holmes sztoriknak ezért nem sajnáltam a pénzt kiadni a "The Complete Illustrated Short Stories" kiadásra.

"To Sherlock Holmes she is always THE woman. I have seldom heard him mention her under any other name. In his eyes she eclipses and predominates the whole of her sex. It was not that he felt any emotion akin to love for Irene Adler. All emotions, and that one particularly, were abhorrent to his cold, precise but admirably balanced mind. "
